Monoprinting
Everyone in the class was lucky enough to do monoprinting during art! First you lie a piece of paper on ink. Next you draw your pictures or designs. Then we slowly lifted the paper so it didn't rip. We turned the pictures around and found out it was a different colour, but still the same picture. We waited for it to dry then framed it. Our art work was complete and ready to hang on the walls.
I drew a picture of my friends. The words I wrote came out backwards. I really enjoyed monoprinting and I also made a monoprint card for my Mum. Doing art makes me feel really happy.
It was very fun to do monoprinting. The whole school got to do monoprinting too. I did a picture of a castle with big flags that were waving in the wind. I also did a picture of a house next to a playground and garden.
